We are 5 of more than 600 Barbershop Harmony Society chapters across the USA and Canada. We sing men’s arrangements in 4-part acapella harmony. We are very interested in adding more men and women to our choruses and to form additional quartets.

Do I need to read music?
The ability to read sheet music is preferred but NOT REQUIRED. Singers can listen to part specific learning tracks. MP3 files can be played right on your device and will have your part easily distinguishable on one stereo channel while the other three parts can be heard in the other ear.
Is barbershop only for men?
No, today barbershop welcomes men’s, women’s, and mixed choruses
What is a “tag” in barbershop?
Tags are short, fun harmonies often sung at rehearsals or events, a great way for newcomers to jump in
What age groups can join?
Sing PA welcomes singers ages 13 and up. Many choruses are looking to bring in younger singers in their 20s–40s
What if I’ve never sung in a chorus before?
That’s okay! Many members start with little to no experience. Directors and members will help you learn.
How much does it cost to be a member?
Dues vary by chapter, but most include access to music, learning tracks, and coaching.
Can I just come watch a rehearsal?
Yes — rehearsals are open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to drop by and see what it’s like
